About

The story of music has been told from the stage.
We tell it from the crowd.

For years, the story of music has mostly been told through the people on stage — the artists, the records, the awards, the charts and the moments that make headlines. But behind many of those moments is another story: the fans who showed up, built communities, created traditions, organised projects, travelled across borders and turned music into something much bigger than a song. The Loud Culture Collective is here to rewrite that story.

Who we are

A global home for fandom culture.

The Loud Culture Collective is a global media and cultural organisation documenting, analysing and celebrating fandom culture, connecting fandoms across communities and borders, and exploring the communities, stories and cultures that shape them.

We believe the story of music should also include the people who fill the rooms, build the communities, and create culture around the artists they love. We believe fandom is more than supporting an artist. It is community, creativity, identity and participation. And the people who make up these communities deserve to be seen as part of the story, not simply as the audience watching from the sidelines.

Why we exist

The most interesting stories in music aren'ton stage.

Fans are often treated as the audience of music culture rather than participants in it. We see them differently. Fandoms have their own histories, personalities, traditions and creative languages. They organise, create, preserve memories, build friendships and sometimes influence the direction of music itself. Some of the most interesting stories in music are happening among people who will never appear on a stage or receive an award.

LCC exists to document those stories, connect fandoms across borders andgive fans their flowers while they're still here to receive them.
